Even when I was little, I loved being in the kitchen and I will forever remember the screeches from my mother when she would realize what I was up to and clinging to the desperate hope that I wasn't burning the house down. So naturally, you can see why some of my fondest memories growing up were making some kind disastrous mess in the kitchen.
Now I've grown up (ha!) and my dear husband has taken up the position as chief fireman and head dish washer, I've realized that baking is my zen that gets me through the blah moments in life, our beautiful dog Emma loves to see what I'll drop next on the kitchen floor, and our sassy cat Wolverine just wants to make sure I don't clutter up his space with all my baking messes.
I'm not a pastry chef and I don't have any training. I'm just a creative gal who likes making cookies and cakes and goodies that will bring a smile to a friend's face and bring people together...
